NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Indonesia's strategy to raise the mandatory palm oil material of biodiesel to 40% next year from 35% will require extra feedstock supply of around 3 million metric tons, a senior Indonesia Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) official stated on Friday.

Indonesia's unrefined palm oil output is seen at 48 million metric heaps in 2024, down 4% from last year, but is expected to increase to 50 million in 2025, GAPKI board of advisers member Joko Supriyono told the Indonesia Palm Oil Conference in Bali. (Reporting by Munthe Writing by Fransiska Nangoy
